At Pari Finance Inc. (“Pari,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), your privacy is a top priority.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using Pari, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Login credentials and account details
  • Loan-related data (amounts, terms, repayment schedules, and repayment performance)

b. Financial Information

To enable secure transactions, loan tracking, and underwriting, we collect certain financial information through trusted third parties:

  • Plaid Inc. connects your financial account to the Pari Platform. When you link your account, Plaid collects data such as account and routing numbers, balances, and transaction history.
  • Our bank partners handle identity verification and payment transfers between users. They may collect information such as your name, address, and date of birth to comply with KYC and AML laws.

Pari itself does not store your bank credentials or hold user funds. All financial data is transmitted securely via Plaid and our bank partners.

c. Banking Data Used for Underwriting

With your consent, and as described in our Terms of Service, Pari accesses and processes your banking data, including account information, balances, and transaction history obtained through Plaid, to power our automated and AI-assisted underwriting tools. This data is used to generate loan-related insights and to operate, improve, test, and benchmark our underwriting models and overall underwriting system. Where reasonably practicable, data used to improve or benchmark our systems is de-identified or aggregated. You may withdraw this access at any time by unlinking your bank account, though doing so may limit certain Platform features.

d. Device & Usage Data

  • IP address, device type, browser, and operating system
  • Pages viewed and in-app activity
  • Cookies and analytics identifiers

This helps us understand usage patterns and improve our services.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Operate and maintain the Pari Platform
  • Facilitate and track loans between trusted users
  • Enable secure payments through our bank partners
  • Assess loan requests and operate our automated and AI-assisted underwriting tools
  • Train, improve, test, and benchmark our underwriting models and overall underwriting system
  • Detect and prevent fraud, security breaches, or illegal activity
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
  • Communicate updates, support messages, or service improvements

We may use anonymized or aggregated data for analytics and product development. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

3. Sharing Your Information

  • Service Providers: third parties like Plaid, our bank partners, or analytics vendors performing services on our behalf.
  • Financial Advisory Firms: if you access Pari through a partnered registered investment advisory (RIA) or other financial advisory firm, we may share limited account or activity information (such as enrollment status, loan terms, or repayment status) with that firm, with your consent or as permitted by law. Partnered advisory firms are independent third parties, not agents or affiliates of Pari.
  • Other Users: limited data (first name, loan terms, repayment status) may be shared with your counterparty in a transaction.
  • Legal Requirements: disclosure when required by law or to protect Pari’s rights, users, or compliance obligations.
  • Business Transfers: if Pari merges or is acquired, user data may transfer to the new entity under similar privacy protections.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our services or meet legal requirements. If you disconnect your bank account, Pari and its partners (e.g., Plaid) will no longer have ongoing access to your financial data. However, de-identified or aggregated data previously used to improve or benchmark our underwriting system, and any data we are required to retain for legal or compliance purposes, may be retained. You can request account deletion or data removal at info@pariapp.com.

5. Data Security

  • Encryption in transit and at rest
  • Access control and multi-factor authentication
  • Regular audits and monitoring

However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that information transmission carries inherent risks.

6. International Data Transfers

If you access Pari from outside the United States, your information may be transferred and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions with different privacy laws. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers.

7. Children’s Privacy

Pari is not intended for users under 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us for removal.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access or correct your personal data
  • Request deletion of your account or information
  • Withdraw consent to certain data uses, including access to your banking data for underwriting
  • Opt out of marketing communications
